Love Others

“The beginning of love is to let those we love be perfectly themselves, and not to twist them to fit our own image. Otherwise, we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them.”

Once we learn to love ourselves, we can learn to love the people around us. We all make mistakes and we all have our faults, but in order to live life to it’s full potential, we must learn to love all people for who they are. “Love is our true destiny. We do not find the meaning of life by ourselves alone-we find it in each other.” To love is to accept others for who they are. To love everyone does not mean you must create a relationship to everyone you see, but it means to have grace and to show kindness to all around you. Be a light in the world, and “spread the love, man!”

Love Yourself

A friend of mine once said, “I think the root of all my problems and insecurities is that I do not love myself [enough].” In order for us to become truly free and happy, we need to love ourselves. It is impossible to love others, or anything else, including life, if we do not love ourselves first. Louise L. Hay said, “if we really love ourselves, everything in our life works.” We need to be in touch with our inner being to truly live life to it’s fullest! We can never be truly happy if we do not have love in our lives, and love starts from within.

Keep a Journal!

Before we can read and list new ideas to life our lives, we should first start writing a journal. Record your accomplishments as well as your delights! Whenever you're feeling down, or bored, you can look to your journal to look back on great memories! Also, keeping a journal is a great way to vent. Journals can be very important, they can last even after you are gone. Imagine, your children, and your children's children reading your journal of your life. By your journal being read, you can be an inspiration to yourself and others.
